Getting Messy!

As Tracen has been in school for the last little while...Logan and I were getting a little bored...well, pretty much mostly Logan.  He was sad everyday asking why he didn't get to go to school with Tracen.  So I decided that he could do "special MOMMY school" with me 3 days a week.  We invited our friend, Ben, to join us and have had 2 successful weeks so far.  We do "school" Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  The BIG boys join us on Fridays since Max is in afternoon kindergarten and Tracen only goes to school 4 days a week.
Our first week our theme was "All about ME!"  We talked about our names, what other words start with the letters in our names, how old we are (3) and sang lots of songs.  We talked about ALL of the colors and played some pretty fun games.  For our "messy" day we got to pudding paint with vanilla pudding and dye it whatever color we wanted.  It was pretty funny to watch the kids try and "paint" with their pudding.  Sweet little Ben said, "ewww!   This is DISGUSTING!"  ha!  But it was fun none-the-less.
Our second week was all about the letter "Aa"  We practiced our A's talked about Ants, Alligators, Airplanes, Apples, and a bunch of other things.  For our "messy day" we made individual "Apple Pies" and talked about apple trees and the #10.  FUN!  and DELICIOUS!
So here are a few pics from our first messy day.  Enjoy!
The gang getting messy...check out how they all chose different colors!  We also made rainbow necklaces/bracelets...where the kids had to count out 3 of every color to put on their necklace/bracelet.  Both big boys picked bracelets and both little boys picked necklaces :)  Funny little buddies.  Oh and lately Ben has had a new hair-do and he told us it's because he wants his hair to be like "Yogan's"
Logan = Lellow
Ben = Green

Max = Blue
Tracen = Red

The boys also got haircuts that same day...it is like pulling teeth to get them to pose for a picture...I even BRIBED them here and this is the best I got...uuuggghhh!  But they are pretty DANG cute!
