Sliding Fun!

As the school year comes to a close, so does the daycare!  This year for the end of the year party, we went to the Coconut Bowl fun house.  Tracen was in heaven with his two buddies Jake (21 months) and Jackson (4 years).  The three of them ran around the place, going down slides, throwing balls and laughing hysterically!  It was so fun to watch Tracen have such a fun time.  We love our daycare buddies and I am so grateful for Chrysta and Kacey, the wonderful ladies that run the place.

Two Cute Brothers

Tracen finally sat down and let us take some pictures of him and his little brother Logan.  Aren't my boys the cutest?

Chub of Love!

So, I was thinking that our blog is a little off balance...Tracen is dominating, so I thought that I would show you our chubby little Logan.  He is just a little more than 6 weeks old and is already a big boy!  He is a really good boy, most of the time.  However, we left him home with my mom while we went to Six Flags and he was not loving her...he never stopped crying (poor grandma)!  On Saturday we moved him into his crib in his own room and now we are sleeping a bit better.  Logan is a very noisy sleeper...he snores/grunts all of the time!  Before, he was in our room in a bassinet next to our bed...great for a while, but definitely not a long lasting set-up!  I can't wait until he gets bigger and starts to coo at us and smile.  Every now and then he will give us a little peek of his personality, but he sleeps too much to let us get to know him yet.  We love him though!  Even Tracen is starting to get accustomed to him.  Whenever he cries, Tracen says, "Don't cry, Logan."  It is really sweet!

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!

Tracen and Daddy at the gates of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!
Tracen really liked the Looney Tunes characters.
Tracen was a bit nervous about going on the rides.  But eventually he got used to the idea.

Our friends the Buehners joined us for our day of fun.

A Whale of a Time!

Getting ready to go for a swim!!!

Today we were at the store and Chris found our new favorite toy!  A whale slide-swimming pool!  At first Tracen didn't like the cold water, but as soon as I showed him how fun it was to splash, he couldn't get enough of it.  Then Morgan (Tracen's cousin) came over and the two of them had a "whale" of a time (Morgan had a little more fun than Tracen, but it was exciting none the less).  They splashed and played and got soaking wet.  No one wanted to quit, but with nap time approaching, the fun had to be saved for another day!  There will definitely be many adventures in our whale pool this summer!

Tracen's first prayers

The day after Tracen's birthday (5/6/08), we went into his room to say prayers before we put him to bed like we always do.  However, this night Tracen gave us a surprise.  When we told him that we were going to say prayers, he folded his arms and began praying (in gibberish).  It was so cute and when we congratulated him for saying his own prayer he thought it was funny and kept doing it, thus allowing me to get it on video.

Happy 2nd Birthday Tracen!

My first attempt at a birthday cake!  And yes...it is all edible!

Tracen turned 2 on Monday, May 5, 2008!  The people at Daycare
threw him a party with lots of cake and presents!  He was so
excited to be there with his friends!
That night we took him out to dinner and to ice cream.  For his birthday we bought him a new basketball hoop and Tracen was in heaven!  We celebrated with family and friends on Saturday, May 10.  We had a basketball themed party with a pinata and everything.

Welcome Baby Logan! (4*5*08)

We welcomed little Logan Christopher on Saturday, April 5, 2008.
He came early because of Mommy's high blood pressure.  We were
induced at 10:00 am and by 1:18pm, we had our second little bug!
Tracen isn't too sure about having another little guy around, but he
is getting used to the idea (slowly) of being a big brother.

A little about the Karrasch Clique!

DUDE #1:
Chris (aka Daddy, Ace of Spades, Christoph)
Chris is in medical school at UNR.  He just finished up his first year (hallellujah!) Other than being a crazy-stressed-out medical student, Chris likes to wrestle with Tracen, play basketball, golf, guitar hero, mario kart, and watch the Utah Jazz!  Oh ya, and his most favorite thing is to go boating...I guess we'll be getting one of those once he gets a job (in like 10 years!)

BLONDIE:  Sara (aka Sar, Mommy, Mama, Mrs. K.)

I am currently a stay-at-home Mommy.  However, once the middle of August rolls around, I will be back to work teaching high school math. Besides being a crazy-busy Mommy/teacher, I enjoy running, going to the gym, playing with the boys, shopping, reading and doing scrapbook projects.  Oh, and I love to play games...it drives Chris crazy!

DUDE #2:  Tracen (aka Tray, Tray-bug, bug, yo-dude, bubba)

Tracen loves basketball!  Well, actually any type of ball, but I would have to say that basketball is his favorite!  Anyone who knows him, can tell you that at two years old, he can already dribble, and has an amazing shot!  Tracen loves to be outside playing, going to the park, watching his shows (Cars and Barnyard) and hanging out with Mama and Daddy!

Dude #3:  Logan (aka Logster, Logie (thanks uncle Kent!))

Logan is the newest member of our clique.  He was born 2 weeks early on April 5, 2008.  Weighing in at 7 lbs, 21 in, he is our biggest baby so far!  He is still in the eating- sleeping- crying- pooping stage, so we will lt you know when anything fun starts to happen.  I almost forgot, Logan likes to snort like a pig...all of the time!
