Santa's Message to Tracen

How fun is THIS? Santa sent a message to Tracen this year to make sure he knows that he is watching him. Merry Christmas Tracen!!!

Logie Bear

After our fun time at Disneyland...Logan got a little sick. A week ago today he was not feeling well so I took him over to urgent care. He had an ear infection, sinus infection and wasn't getting enough oxygen through his body due to his cold. Poor guy. So he had to go on breathing treatments. Here he is...it looks sad, but actually he is such a trooper and has been doing great on them! Logan's breathing has always been a bit raspy and I have worried about him since he as born. He used to sound like a little pig because his breathing was so labored, but all of our doctors have said that he is fine. I still wonder if he won't be a little asmatic when he grows up.

DISNEYLAND 2009

For Thanksgiving we packed up the kids and headed to DiSnEyLaNd for 5 days. We spent 3 days in the park which was plenty! We had so much fun but we were completely worn out by the end. We got to hang out with my whole family which was super fun! We spent most of our time with Logie's best friend and cousin MILES!!! Disneyland was all decked out for Christmas so it was beautiful...my camera ran out of batteries one day so other people took pictures for me and I still need to get them from them...So here is what I have! Family Pictures

We went tonight to go get family pictures taken. I really wanted to get our picture done outside, but I ran out of time so we headed off to Kiddie Kandids and I have to say they did an excellent job! I am so happy =) Here is what we got. The only thing that is a bummer about Kiddie Kandids is you have to pick right there the ones to get so it isn't much of a selection :)

Stats & I need quarters

Well, little Tracen bug has been a bit ill lately. He has had a fever since Tuesday so we took him in to see the doctor today. All is well except for the fact that he has a fever. Not really what I wanted to hear. I was hoping it was an ear infection so we could move on with our lives and get him well. Instead we left not knowing what is going on and hoping it goes away soon so we don't have to do more tests next week.

On a brighter note, we did get their stats:

Tracen:
age: 3 years 6 months
weight: 32.6 pounds (50%)
height: 38 inches (75%)

Logan:
age: 1 year 7 months
weight: 28 pounds (75%)
height: 34 inches (90%)

Our family enjoys singing in the car, well maybe not Chris, but definitely the boys and me. We enjoy older songs that teach the kids about their bodies, the weather, sharing, etc. Well we were driving home from the doctor singing loudly and all of a sudden Tracen stopped singing and says to me, "Mommy, I can't sing anymore." I asked, "why?" Tracen said, "Because I need more quarters in my pocket before I can sing. I don't work without quarters."

FINDING YOU

I know that there are many of you out there who LOVE to read and who have friends who LOVE to read. I have a friend at school who is writing her first book and she is looking to be published. Trick or Treating!!

Our last halloween post is here! We used our costumes to the fullest degree. On Friday the 30th we took the boys downtown for safe trick or treating and a bunch of shops around the river! It was a blast!!!

On actual Halloween we headed out to Carson for a Halloween party at my sister's house. We ate good food and then took the kids out trick or treating. Tracen LOVED it this year. At one point he told a guy, "give me some of that candy!" Where did his manners go?

A Great Halloween-ish Weekend!

We had such a fun weekend! We started out by watching Tracen ROCK OUT to guitar with Uncle Connor. Since we moved in with Chris' dad, the boys LOVE to hang out with their uncles. Connor currently is obsessed with Metalica and comes down everyday to play guitar hero on the big screen. Recently Tracen has been grabbing his own guitar so that he too can rock out. It really is a funny sight. This isn't a great representation of what really goes on, but it is a glipse. Connor really does rock out every time he plays and it is hilarious. Tracen likes it and mimics everything that he does! I wanted to upload the video, but it takes way too long...sorry1

Chris had to work Saturday, so the boys and I headed over to Dough Boy Doughnuts for breakfast! Tracen loves to eat the blue Wolfpack paw and Logan just gets a glazed...it is plenty messy, but they enjoy themselves.

Then we headed to Walmart to get our trunk or treat pumpkins. Tracen really wanted the "pink" one, but once I suggested the blue one for Logan he quickly changed his minds. I had a lot of organizing and cleaning to do, so the boys played and made messes. I got out their Halloween "scary" fingers and they had a blast. Thanks grandma Maree!

Our ward for some reason didn't have a trunk or treat so we bombarded the one in sparks. Four wards were involved so it was HUGE!! They had a carnival in the gym with a jump house, cotton candy and many other games. The boys loved it! This year the boys are being:

Alvin, Simon, Theodore...do..do...do.do.do.do! Thanks Mom for making their AMAZING costumes!!

VEGAS and a my boys are growing up way too fast

I have been looking at my boys lately and wondering where my babies have gone? They are both getting so big everyday....and at the same time even more fun! I love that Logan can walk and run and play with his big brother Tracen.

A couple weekends ago, we got to hang out with Morgan and Jace. We had pizza, played games and ate treats while watching the Polar Express!

Lately Logan has not been wanting to sleep in his bed. He is going to bed at 6:30 pm, then gets up and stays up until 12:30 am and then gets up early the next morning. Needless to say we have had many a sleepless nights. So I thought, I would make him stay up later to help him sleep...NOPE!!!! This is what I found...a conked out babe on the couch!

This past weekend was Chris and I's trip to Vegas. I would so much call it a trip...it was more of a very expensive date. But it was super fun. We went shopping at their amazing outlets and then met up with my bro (Jason) and his wife, Jessica at the cheesecake factory.

We were on our way to the Utah Utes game...Chris was SO EXCITED!!! Here is us in our Utah gear. You can't imagine the number of people that were in Vegas supporting the Utes! So FUN!

After every touchdown, Chris jumped up ranting about how amazing the Utes are =) I love that he was so happy to be there!!!

On Monday we went outside and played. I was thinking that it was really cold outside so I made the boys "bundle" up, but it wasn't as cold as their garb would make it seem...
