This week in "mommy school" we talked about the letter "B" and since it is getting close to Halloween we made some "bats"! FUN!
I probably shouldn't make them look at the sun when I take pictures...oops!
Isn't this so cute?
Also, it is time to get out Halloween decorations and I have never had a wreath so....I made one. These babies were going for about $30 - $40 on Etsy...heck, I think mine turned out pretty good for a grand total of....$12
Don't worry mom, I even covered the back...Chris made fun of me because it took an extra hour or so to do, but it does look a lot nicer! And PS...don't you think Purple is the best Halloween color?
This pic is sideways...but you get the idea :)
And this year for Halloween...Tracen wants to be FRANKENSTEIN. The whole obsession began with a little matching game my mom has that Tray used to play with Grandpa Steve on Sundays. He is SO excited to paint his face green and spray his hair black.
Last year I tackled making the boys their costumes. As a kid, my mom made ALL of our Halloween costumes. I remember being a space girl (maybe one of my favorites) Maid Marian and many many more. I am not the best seamstress...but hey, you have to start somewhere and while it takes me a while to get it done, I do it and I love it! So, I made the costume (but bought the purple shirt and gloves). I think it turned out pretty cute. We just have to get some green skin and bolts and he will be one SCARY Frankenstein.
And just for good measure...Logan wanted to try it on :)
Now it's time to make my costume...I'm going to be a Spider Witch :)

You made his costume? It is so cute. I love it. I wish had had the ambition to try sewing. I think I could be good at it I am just afraid to try. So cute! Also I love the wreath, I was looking on Etsy yesterday for cute wreaths. I need on for my door.
Clever, clever, clever. You make holidays so much fun, and your kids will forever have good memories to look back on.
