Thanksgiving 2011

This was our very first
Thanksgiving away from Reno/SLC
and my first time
ever cooking any of the meal,
let alone the entire meal!
But I enjoyed it and I had a
great helper!
On the menu was Turkey (bleh)
stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes,
gravy, beans, rolls, pink fluff and cranberries!
A lot of food for not a lot of people  (LOL)

The turkey...supposedly it tasted pretty dang good

The dinner spread
We had very special guests for the
Thanksgiving weekend!  Since
we live relatively close
Uncle Kent and Christin
flew up for the weekend!  The boys
were in HEAVEN and I loved
having company and a
SHOPPING buddy!

 Black Friday was pretty uneventful
for us...the ads didn't have much to offer
but Christin and I did a little shopping
then we dragged the boys to
the Hershey Pantry
(which boasts of making the best
breakfast in Pennsylvania)
for some delish breakfast.
Then we headed back out and the boys
headed over to Indian Echo Caverns
and went to the petting zoo.
O....P.S.  Chris had the day after off!

After the petting zoo
we all met up again for lunch
of leftovers (yum!)
and the boys played a little 2 on 2
in the driveway...
well it was more like 2 on 1 against Kent!

Saturday we took Kent and Christin
to our very favorite Chocolate World to hit
up the little ride
and get some free chocolate!
The boys were so excited to take
them to their favorite place!
You know you love that Logan has his finger half up his nose

Saturday night once Chris got off work
We had some yummy Red Robin
then headed over to Hershey's Sweet Lights.
The sweet lights are lights you drive through
while listening to Christmas music.
Don't worry that every boy
fell asleep and Christin and I enjoyed them.

Kent and Christin had to go home
Sunday after church.  They flew in
through Baltimore so it is about a 2 hour
trip to get to the airport.
Logan man and Kenton had a little snooze!
We had a great
Thanksgiving weekend with
Kent and Christin!
Thanks for coming!

Nothing like a "vacation at home" -- vacation for Kent and Christin and staycation for your family. FUN FUN FUN!!! I love it that the brothers and the sisters have fun together.
