Chris went to surgery with his dad on Wednesday! He had a great time! And I think that it was a proud moment for his dad too!

Sleep over central! We had Ally and Zack over on Wednesday night. We ate chicken ring, got ice cream and played lots of games.

Ok, so we threw my sister-in-law, Jessica, and my brother, Jason, a baby shower on Sunday! So much fun, we made it a couples shower, but I didn't plan any games. This was my present. It is a diaper cake for those of you who have never seen one! This was my first attempt and I am really proud of how it turned out! The parents-to-be are having a boy (Miles) and they are decorating his room in Jungle theme...hence my jungle themed cake!

Amanda & Chad's amazing cake! I wanted one just like this for my wedding, but I got vetoed by Chris...don't get me wrong, I loved the cake we ended up with, but isn't this amazing and unique? Good choice sister! The cake was beautiful and so was the wedding!
Logan finally decided that he likes his swing on Sunday morning. Hooray!
BONKERS! Tracen is always hitting his head on things, well today was no different, but he hit his head/ear on the edge of our computer desk and now has a growth!
Here in Reno we rarely get rain, but today we had our first thunderstorm of the summer. I love the rain, so we set up our lawn chairs on the patio and watched the rain. Tracen, being the full-blown boy he is, decided to go run and jump in the water!

I love, love, love, the black and turquoise dress, you are so dang cute! Your sister's colors are awesome. The cake is totally fabulous.
I don't want this to sound weird, but seeing Chris do his doctor thing is cute. "Cute" is not a word I would normally use to describe the job of a doctor. Very cool that he and his dad were side by side.
I wish I were busy like you!! Amanda's wedding looks beautiful. Your dresses are actually really cute! I love her colors too. Also, the family picture is adorable. I am so lazy that I would just use that as my Christmas card picture, but you're better than that! =)

Busy, busy! This summer has been on crack speed for us too. Amanda looks absolutly beautiful (so do her sisters!) and that cake is totally fabulous. I might come up Saturday for the Idaho reception. I'd love to see you guys!
