I should have done this before...

So, I should have done this before, but I didn't think about it.  I made my blog private, but I don't have everyone's e-mail address...so, I am un-privatizing (if that is such a thing) my blog for the next week, but on the 4th of July it is going to be closed.  So, if I haven't gotten your e-mail, let me know and I will invite you.

What happens when we have 3 or 4 or 5?????

The saying "Mama's Boy" hit its all time high in our house today.  The boys love Chris, who doesn't, but when they are upset, they want their mama!  Today, being Father's Day (Happy Father's Day Chris!), Chris took a shower first (not normal for Sunday) so that he could relax and have some alone time.  While he was showering, I gave both boys a bath and got them ready for church so that Chris wouldn't have to worry about it.  We then treated Daddy to his favorite breakfast, french toast with bacon.  Chris was feeding Logan and Tracen was running around playing, so I went to get ready to go to church.  After I was showered and dressed, I hear both boys screaming and poor Chris was doing his best to make Logan happy while trying to change Tracen's dirty diaper.  Needless to say, both boys had hit the wall!  I still had to do my hair and Chris had to get dressed for church.  So I urged Chris to go get ready and I would handle the problem.  I picked up a screaming Logan (who just got his shots yesterday) and tried talking to Tracen, but it wasn't working.  So with Logan in one arm, I scooped Tracen up in the other, went and got his "friggies" and we were on our way!  Not so easy to carry 42 lbs of upset baby.  But after just a few seconds, both were happy and ready to smile for the camera!  Really, I need to grow more arms if all of my babies are "mama's boys/girls".

Jaba the Hut

Chris took Logan in for his 2 month check-up this week and we have got a big one!!!  Weighing in at 13 lbs, 6oz and 24 inches long, he is definitely a big boy!  My mom always says that he looks like Kenton, now I guess he is bigger built like him!

I am not too worried because Tracen too was a big boy! Many would say that he looked like Jaba the Hut as a baby (especially in this picture when Tracen was 3 months old). What do you think?

Fully Clothed!

This past week I let Tracen go outside to play with his basketball hoop. I was doing the dishes and watching him. All of a sudden he disappeared so I went outside to look for him. Our swimming pool had been on the grass when the sprinklers came on and had filled with water. Tracen had decided to go for a swim fully clothed. WOW!!! I used to force him to play with his pool and now I can't keep him out of it.

How do you solve a problem like...

Take this test!
OK, so maybe you never went straight from a convent to motherhood, but it's a safe bet that you encourage and support your family in much the same way that Maria did. Playful and yes, sometimes a little mischievous, you tend to lead by doing, and you always make sure to help your children achieve their goals without actually doing it for them.

You inspire your family because you always find creative ways to make even the most mundane chores or homework problems seem fun and important. And you want others to try to find the beauty in life — whether it's from art, music, books, or adventure. Those are just a few of your favorite things.
