High School Tag

I GOT TAGGED...so here it goes.

1. Did you date someone from your school? Yes, a couple of someones...Brandon(2yr) and Beau(9months) were the longest relationships

2.What kind of car did you drive? A piece of junk! It was a 1988 Nissan Sentra. It was red, but pretty much it was rusty and gross. I had to rev the engine at the stop lights to keep it from dying on me

3. Were you a party animal? No, but I got out of the house a lot and hung out with friends. I was hardly ever home.

.4. Were you considered a flirt? Probably, its just my personality.

5. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Choir (Intermezzo to be exact. We were a perfroming show choir type of group.)

6. Were you a nerd? Not really, but I wasn't Ms. Popularity either. I played sports, had friends, but I was smart too. Just kind of middle of the road.

7. Were you on any varsity teams? Yep, soccer all 4 years.

8. Did you get suspended/expelled? Nope nope.

9. Can you still sing the fight song? I can hum it, does that count?  Actually, I know the beginning, "We're the Raiders, we're the best yet!"

10. Who were your favorite teachers? Ms. Karek (Math), Mr. Lorentzen (Choir), Mrs. Oppio

11. Where did you sit during lunch? I went out to lunch all 4 years. We liked to go to Wendys or to someone's house for a free lunch.

12. What was your school's full name? Reed High School

13. School mascot? Raiders

14. If you could go back and do it again, would you? No thanks, it was fun while it lasted. But sometimes I miss the singing and soccer matches.  Also, I miss when life wasn't so complicated and you got to see your friends everyday.  That was the life, don't you think?

15. What do you remember most about graduation? Walking with my bestest friend Meagan, having terrible brown hair in a yellow gown, but having so much fun after at the Sober Grad Night. Meg and I ran around like crazy and I loved Sumo wrestling.

16.Where did you go senior skip day? Lame, but I don't remember

17. Were you in any clubs? Nation Honor Society, Key Club

18. Have you gained some weight since then? I'm working it off, I just had a baby, give me a break!

19. Who was your prom date? I went to a lot of proms.  At our school they had Junior and Senior prom, but for MY proms...Junior, Brandon Price, my boyfriend at the time, Senior, Beau Walker, again my boyfriend at the time.

20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Nah...I really don't care to.  i am happy where I am at and I keep in touch with most of the people that I want to keep tabs on.

So, I don't care to tag anyone, but thanks Sariah for the opportunity.  I guess if you want to do it you can.

Also, I know that it has been forever since I posted, but we are just super busy.  Both Chris and I started back to school last week and now that I actually have students I am exhausted and ready for summer!  But maybe I will try to get it done this weekend.

TTA-Summer Blockbuster

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES?
I am not a huge movie-goer.  Usually, I just redbox the ones that I want to see on the Tuesday that they come out.  However, this summer Chris and I have actually made it to quite a few movies and I also went with my sister and Mom to see a couple.  So here are my top three...

3.  Made of Honor:  Though I am a huge Grey's Anatomy fan, I have never found Dr. McDreamy as "dreamy" as everyone else does.  The thing that makes his attractive to me is his voice, which is "dreamy."  This movie was so cute...except the fiance, was not my favorite, he drove me nuts!  But a definite see for any of you girls out there that enjoy a good chick-flick with a happy ending.

2.  Mama Mia:  I am a total musical nut!  I love all of the music and putting in Abba just makes it that much better.  I loved, loved, loved it!  I wish sometimes that my life could be like that, where I would go around singing instead of talking.  Wouldn't that be great?  Sometimes I do that anyways and Chris finds me a bit loco!  I think that the casting was great!  I loved how cute and real Sophie was.  However, I went with Chris and I think that he mocked it more than loved it...at one point he leaned over to me when Pierce Brosnan was singing SOS in the doorway and said, "Sara, that is James Bond, James Bond."  He couldn't get over the fact that James Bond was singing.  Anyway, I plan to go again, and I plan to have a lot of fun singing!

But the best one yet is...1.  The Dark Knight:  INTENSE, that is all I can say about it.  I was amazed at how dark "the Joker" was.  This movie was crazy and I loved it!  (Definitely Chris' favorite of the summer)

A movie that I am looking forward to is:
HOUSE BUNNY.  Not the most intelligent movie, but really, I think that it will be hilarious.   I just hope that it doesn't end up being one of those movies where all the good parts are in the previews.  My favorite part is when she is by the man hole, I laugh out loud every time.

So what are your favorites?

The Logan-miester is 4 months old!

I am a bit behind the times, but I wanted to be able to give an update on the ever growing Logan-miester. He turned 4 months last Tuesday on the 5th of August. So fun things that happened..he rolled over for the very first time! For a while he wouldn't perform again, but today he has let go and his performing is better than ever. At the doctor's office we learned that Logan is 26 1/2 inches long and 16 lbs 11 oz. He definitely isn't little.  We also started feeding him mush and he loved it.  He didn't even push it out with his tongue.  Funny kid, I think that he was born to eat, because he definitely does it very well!

Now it is over because the bath-baby sings!

The Hogle Zoo and Bear Lake (Sorry...it's very long!)

I will begin by apologizing for this super long post, but we have been out of town for the past 8 days and we had so much fun!  We took oodles of pictures so I tried to narrow down a few that we wanted to share.  We drove Sunday night out to Salt Lake and it was actually a pretty enjoyable ride.  Then Monday, we got to go to the Hogle Zoo and it was a blast!  Tracen absolutely was enthralled by all of the animals and couldn't get enough of them.  Then on Tuesday, we headed up to Bear Lake, where Chris' family owns a cabin right on the lake.  The water wasn't the best, but Tracen did get a tube ride with Daddy and Chris got in some skiing and knee boarding.  While we were there, one of my teeth that I have been neglecting for the past year started throbbing, I was in so much pain, but luckily I had a perscription for Lortab...bad idea #1. When I took it, I felt like I was spinning and could hardly keep down any food!  Not so fun!  Ohwell, we had an enjoyable time, especially when my tooth was throbbing with piercing pain!
Chris, Tracen, Grandma Maree, Sara and Logan on the Train ride around the zoo!
The crew at the zoo in front of the fun train (choo! choo!)

The tiger decided to grace us with his presence and take a swim. It was amazing to see him up so close!
The leopard was agitated at all the people watching him.  He kept pacing around.  Tracen thought he was cool, but doesn't he look like he is ready to eat him up?
GRRR...Mom and Tracen on the Merry-Go-Round.
Welcome to bear lake.  Many years ago the water at bear lake was much higher and it came right up to the cabin.  Now, there is about 100 yds of reeds from the cabin to the lake.
But Tracen sure enjoyed the dock!
Tracen's first tube ride with Daddy!
What cool dudes!
Chris' skiing skills!
Tuckered-out-Tracen, and a nauseated Mommy!
Chris can't just knee board, he has to throw a flip or two.
The fish (carp) in the Bear Lake marina love to suck your toes.  We went and fed the fish with cousin Lisa almost everyday.
The cousins.
